After a couple years of having a hastily designed, empty looking personal site, I finally decided to make it a “real” site with a domain and a CMS. Gone are the pages using a roughly converted version of the KIExtreme Version 3 templates, which were difficult to manage for updates due to being all manual HTML coding. This caused delays in posting new trip reports and updating the other content. Replacing them is the simple yet powerful WordPress backend, where I can make a page or post simply by filling out a form. Adding new content to the site is now as easy as making a post on a forum. Updates can now be made on a much better schedule.
This is my personal site. All my Kings Island stuff goes on KIExtreme, and the rest goes here. The Photo Gallery contains my park, fair, carnival and personal photos including the personal photos from Kings Island. Video Clip Dump is where I share video clips. I post random crap and photos on my LiveJournal Blog. My trip reports starting in 2002 are in the Trip Reports section. My track record, lap counts and flat rides records are also here.
